Ushtria Sgt. Klasa 1 Alejandro "Alex" Granado -. Hero nderuar ushtarake, 42, e Fairfax, VA, vdiq nga plagët, kur kryengritësit sulmuan automjetin e tij me një mjet shpërthyes të improvizuar 2 gusht në Qole Gerdsar, Afganistan. Ai ishte anëtar i Gardës Kombëtare të Ushtrisë Misisipi, dhe caktuar në Batalionin e 2, 20 Forcave Speciale Group (ajrore), Jackson, Miss Ai shërbeu për më shumë se njëzet vjet. Granado ishte në shtëpi muajin e kaluar dhe vizituar familjen e tij mbi 4 korrik pushime. Kapa dyshim e krenarisë e familjes të një prej tyre.
